I think I’m obsessed with Tate. The “who gets to suck me off algebra equation”? I had to put the book down for a second to process that.
Oh, Ares… What a traumatizing birthday present.
“It was either that or pissing on your leg in Madison Square Garden and barking at every man who glanced your way.” Nix the piss and I’d be so okay with that.
It’s good to know Row remains unhinged and unable to stay out of other peoples business.
Mmmmmmm, Tate Blackthorn. Yeah, he’d go to war for her.
Yesssss, Gia!!!! Put those bitches in their place!!!!!!
I genuinely love a woman with resolve and passion. Gia ditching Enzo like that was just *chefs kiss*. What a kick ass woman.
Let poor baby Tate have a friend for gads sake!!!
We love a man who would grossly break some real intense laws for the woman he’s obsessed with.
Of course Tate doesn’t know how to take care of her in this moment, he’s so broken.
Going from such a traumatic lived experience to feeling genuinely safe and protected, it makes sense why Tate is so hard on himself, why he’s closed himself off emotionally the way he has. Especially after all the loss.
“With all that he was and all that he could be.” Okay, but you can’t expect someone to change for you, babes. He doesn’t want help. He doesn’t want to get better. He likes who he is, HOW he is. Wishing he would change does nothing for you but foster resentment and disappointment. It’ll never be what you want.
Nah, Tate got me fucked all the way up with that bracelet.
Only a coward shoots a man in the back of the head.
Dylan has always been a little bit… unhinged, but what is up with this weird fixation she has with the Irish mobster? (Nevermind, end of the book gives us the context we need. It’s a set up.)
I…. ???? She could have given the bracelet to her own daughter????
What an… abrupt ending. I didn’t feel the love for this one that I felt for the previous two. It feels like the author was kind of just throwing a trope at the wall and seeing what happened when she wrote it. I thought the whole build up to his reconciliation with his mental health was great, but then it just kinda… snapped to the end like a rubber band. Very odd.
