Get Even

Get Even

The fury I felt. The rage. More than half the book I was on the verge of screaming at it to just give the girl a breaaaaak.

Ryan is one of the best book boyfriends I’ve ever read. Such a lil sweetie pie.

Jamie? That bitch. Revenge is an art for her and I loved every single second her scandalous behavior.

There were /a lot/ of side characters and it was mildly overwhelming at times because of how unique and individual they all are.

I bought this because I read one scene and was like “hoooo, gotta see what’s up with that… how do you even get to that point” but didn’t remember what it was because it sat on my TBR for so long (thanks, work), so I had virtually no expectations and no idea what I was getting myself into. MAN, what a ride.

The only thing that really took away from it for me was the fact that Ryan and Nick cleaned up Davis’ mess for her instead of her handling it herself. She’s such a strong, independent woman and I get the point was that she doesn’t have to be because she has people who love her and will go to bat for her, but I just think there was a way to do that where they supported her in the endeavor rather than handling it for her.

Regardless, such a fantastic read.
